Missouri

  • 39th Street
    Cluster of eclectic shops and restaurants from State Line to Southwest Trafficway. Residents are a stone’s throw away from the nightlife in the Westport bar district as well as tasty eateries on State Line like Cupini’s Italian food and d’Bronx deli and pizza shop.
  • Briarcliff

    An upscale neighborhood located less than 5 minutes north of downtown, Briarcliff has a little bit of everything. Briarcliff also offers shops and café’s in their new Briarcliff Village.

  • Brookside

  • Sunset Hill
    Backing up to Loose Park and just south of The Country Club Plaza, this neighborhood features manicured lawns, mature trees, broad swooping streets and hilly terrain. A historical landmark from the Battle of Westport, the area boasts character and great architecture. $389,000 to $5.25 million.
  • Union Hill
    This neighborhood can be distinguished by two sections – single-family homes built around the turn of the century and newer loft and condo projects. Situated between downtown Kansas City and The Country Club Plaza, Union Hill offers city living at its best. Residents’ favorite hangouts include The Velvet Dog Martini Lounge, and the Empire Room.
  • Waldo
    This distinctive area in Kansas City, Mo., is probably best known for its nightlife. Bars like Kennedy’s, Bobby Baker’s, Tanner’s and 75th Street Brewery are all within walking distance. Also known for its close-knit community and strong neighborhood association. Features unique mainly two and three-story homes with mature trees and great resale value. $175,000 to $375,000.
  • West Plaza
    The West Plaza neighborhood is an eclectic residential area between the Country Club Plaza and State Line in Kansas City, Missouri. Having the Plaza so close might be dangerous for serious shopoholics.   • Fairway
    Fairway is a desirable setting that just about 4,000 people call home despite its span of only one square mile. Residents will say it’s like a small town in a big city atmosphere. If you love golf, you will surely admire the three golf courses nearby—hence the name, Fairway. Other facts worth noting is Fairway’s closeness to the Country Club Plaza: a mere 5-10 minutes drive.
  • Hallbrook
    Hallbrook is upscale on the upscale. This residential subdivision covers State Line Road on the east side to Mission Road on the west side and 119th on the south side and College Boulevard on the north. Town Center Plaza shops are a hop skip and jump away, while Camelot Court and Hawthorne Plaza are close by as well.
  • Historic Westheight
    Located in Kansas City, Kansas, this neighborhood has been on the National Historic Register since the 1970s. Developed in the early 20th century, the neighborhood boasts a variety of architectural styles such as Prairie School Victorian, and Arts and Crafts. $60,000 to $200,000.
  • Lake Quivera
    Located near the Johnson County and Wyandotte County border, Lake Quivira is the quintessential neighborhood for the pleasure-seeking individual. The lake is populated with trout and other fish, and it certainly isn’t uncommon to see families relaxing on their boats from late spring all the way to mid-fall. The private community of well-guarded homes has its own country club, golf course and lake. $200,000 to $600,000.
  • Lawrence
    Technically, Lawrence is a city. But given its size, we’ll say it’s a really large neighborhood. Home to the University of Kansas, this college town possesses a wide array of eclectic shops, excellent restaurants and beautiful Midwestern scenery. Think Cambridge of the Plains. Downtown Lawrence is home to many a locally owned shops, crowded bars and bustling eateries. Enjoy an elegant dinner at Teller’s and then relax with a glass of wine at the Bourgeois Pig.
  • Mission Hills
    Known as the Beverly Hills of Kansas City, Mission Hills is status plus. Exclusively fine homes are accentuated by historic sculptures and fountains, and the neighborhood boasts three of the area’s finest golf clubs. A collection of architectural styles including Tudor, French, colonial and contemporary are all represented. This neighborhood is home to approximately 4,000 residents. $100,000 to $1 million.
  • Mission Woods
    This neighborhood is more like a village, with just 165 residents and 79 homes. A mixture of young families, and established residents create an inviting and friendly atmosphere. Convenient access to almost anywhere in the city including Johnson County and The Country Club Plaza via the city’s main artery of Shawnee Mission Parkway.
  • Prairie Village
    Charming is the word that comes to mind when describing this hamlet of established neighborhoods with an abundance of trees. Located just west of State Line and south of Mission Hills, Prairie Village is a real draw for affluent singles and families who enjoy a small town atmosphere that’s close to everything. Minsky’s Pizza is a local favorite as well as The Blue Moose Bar & Grill.
  • Topeka

    The capital of Kansas is a lively city. With more than 20 first-class attractions, 12 art galleries, five performing arts facilities, spectacular annual events, delectable dining and unique shopping, there is something for everyone. Topeka has strong public and private schools and is the home to Washburn University. Located in the heartland, Topeka is full of opportunities and the perfect place to raise a family.
